the funny things you learn about yourselfHere's my story. I began my afternoon blog reading around 3pm. As usual I hit National Review's 'The Corner'. From 'The Corner' I followed a link to a news report concerning some pro-life George Washington University students who were injured while being forcibly removed from a John Kerry/NARAL rally after peacefully chanting a pro-life slogan. On the right side of that news report there's an ad for "Feminists for Life" with a woman's face. The woman looked like Patricia Heaton, who leads my MILF list. So via IM I ask Hei Lun if he knows anything about Patricia Heaton's political views. We follow some links, and we discover that Patricia Heaton is indeed very pro-life. Patricia believes: "I find it impossible to subscribe to a philosophy that believes that the destruction of human life is a legitimate solution to a problem that is mostly social, economic and psychological," said Heaton. "In reality, most women 'choose' abortion because they believe they have no other choice."(Ok, she's pro-life, but she's also a commie. That kind of makes up for it. Ed.) The article about Patricia Heaton's opinions on abortion contain's a lengthy list detailing the "coalition of Hollywood celebrities" backing a pro-abortion march. So I read through the list, and a name really stuck out: Salma HayekThe Pink Ranger? The Pink Ranger supports abortion? At that point I wasn't so worried that Amy Jo Johnson supported abortion (I'm pro-choice myself), what really worried me was that I instantly recognized Amy Jo Johnson as the Pink Power Ranger. That worry led to the following IM conversation between Hei Lun and I: Nick (4:13:26 PM): Oh No, not the Pink Ranger! |
