How's about we consider the punishment cruel and unusual, not befitting the crime?

I don't remember saying the government would cease to enforce this law against the cable companies, only that cable companies are going to fight tooth and nail to not be liable under these regulations. Not only do anti P2P laws hurt business, they're also a pain to administer.
